On paper, the reason l bought it was, It's got all the right numbers. When l first charged it up, pad it on, I was quite impressed with the quality of the picture once l got the screen and the target focused, which are done with just turning the two focus knobs at either end. What was really cool was that I tried to put my handprint on a cabinet and then removed it, and it was able to take a thermal image of the cabinet. Was quite good.
Your product looks by far the most robust and solid built/manufactured such device in comparison to all others we have looked at in addition with some pretty amazing visual capabilities. Our National Security division undertakes high level security all over Australia providing Counter Terrorism protection to several locations of Australia's most Critical Infrastructure. These are the perfect situations in which your product will come into action and will provide another option to that of our current Gen4 NV we utilise.
Just so your aware, when using such surveillance products at many of these high level security facilities, there is always major interest from personnel and their superiors in our equipment where as I have no doubt that your product as our Night Vision devices do does) will generate ALOT of curious interest from many defence personnel we work with.
I received mine this week. Well made. Good picture for the sensor size. The Oled display screen is very good. Menu functions are bit clunky but usable. The zeroing process is very different to others I have used and could be better. When zero is done the reticle does not re-centre to the screen. Not a show stopper but annoying. The eye relief is an issue. Small calibre rifles will be fine. Might get scope kissed with something like a 308. Taking it out on my 22lr this week so I will give some practical feedback after.
Best thermal scope I’ve used so far. The clarity at night is amazing—I can spot hogs from over 400 yards. Super accurate, long battery life, and easy to zero in. Highly recommend it for serious night hunters.
Thermal detail is crisp even in fast-moving situations. I track injured animals professionally, and this has helped cut down recovery time by hours.
We had coyote problems, and this scope helped us take control fast. Great thermal resolution. Only docked a star because the mounting bracket needed adjusting. Otherwise, it's rock solid.
